We’ve collected and played a lot of songs over the last few years.  When our pal Mike Ardagh asked us if we’d like to come by the studio at McGill in Montreal during our last tour, we wanted to do it, but at the same time didn’t know what we should record.  We picked two traditional cowboy songs that we love, “Night Herding Song” and “Buffalo Skinners”. Over time they’ve become something much different than the versions we first heard, and we were lucky enough to capture them between midnight and 5:00 am in Montreal, live off the floor.  As Mike was generous enough to record these tracks free of charge, we’d like to pass that generosity along to all of you who have made the last few years so awesome for us.
